All CodexCoder products are GPL compliant and all our PHP files are also licensed under the GNU General Public License (GPL). But, the files may contain Images, CSS and JavaScript which are NOT published under the GPL. These files run independently and are accessed directly by the web browser with no processing by any PHP data. As such, these files are not covered by the GPL. They are released under the CodexCoder Proprietary Use License according to our Terms & Conditions.

CodexCoder Proprietary Use License

Ownership

Any CodexCoder product modified or unmodified are not your property. You do not own them. They are property of CodexCoder.

Unauthorized Use

It is not permitted to put any non-GPL parts of our products in a modified or changed or even unmodified version on a disk, website, P2P and any other medium or use it for resale purposes. This means you are not allowed to set up our products for demonstration purposes to promote them to your customers. It is also not allowed to use screenshots of our product to promote them to your customers for resale purposes. Should you intend to do so you have to discuss and agree upon this with CodexCoder in any case?

Site Licenses

Each membership includes specific numbers of site licenses for specific products. Each license gives you the right to use the product on a site. Site means installation and NOT domain. It is not permitted to use our products on more than the allowed sites. Please make sure that you only use the permitted number, so if you have more sites using our products, you must remove them from the other sites. It is required to register all sites using CodexCoder products by adding the domain to your site licenses on your account page.

If a membership accepts you unlimited site license of a CodexCoder product, you are allowed to use the product in all your client projects, but it does NOT allow the redistribution of the product in any form. Using a CodexCoder product for your client projects is only granted if you primarily sell your service to your client and not the product itself. If you wish to continue the usage of the product for new website projects, you need to renew your membership after the existing membership has expired.

The site licenses are not time-limited, so you may continue to use the chosen product even after the date your membership expires. During the membership, you have access to the support and updates of your chosen products.

Modifications

You are allowed to make any changes and modifications in the themes or products to adapt them to your needs. It is not permitted to change or remove the copyright information in the source code. This includes the XML descriptor file and all PHP, JavaScript, HTML and CSS files distributed with our products. Of course, any visual copyrights, for example the copyrights in the theme footer, can be removed.

However, you are not allowed to resale or redistribute these changes and modifications as GPL or other licenses. It is strictly prohibited to port CodexCoder theme and themes included in our plugins to other platforms and CMS.

Assignability

It is not allowed to sub-license, assign, or transfer your licenses to anyone.

Use of Content

Re-use of any graphics, icons or photos from the demo content for any purposes is strictly prohibited. The demo content is for demonstration purposes only.
