Your current post is set to private. Now you can keep continuing to write it or edit it or you may publish it. It is up to you. But when you decide to publish it and hit the ‘Publish’ button your post will straight get published as a private post.

Yeah, if it is an already published post you can still make it private if previously it wasn’t. for that after following the procedure just hit on the ‘Update’ button and you are good to go.
